These are remanufactured Penntex replacements for the PX-2R, PX-220R, or PX-2RD alternators using mostly Penntex parts. These units have a core deposit (Cores must be rebuildable) or can be purchased outright. If you choose the core deposit, we will include a return shipping label (Only in the Contiguous U.S.). Our units are designed and built to provide the highest possible amperage output at idle. Damaged Rotor, Stator or Housings will be given partial refund.
This Penntex replacement PX2R alternator is a great high output upgrade for your Ford truck, van, or shuttle bus. Pictured is the Penntex replacement Model PX2 with one positive and one negative output posts (terminals), if you have the dual positive version, both top studs positive, then order the Dual terminal version below. NOTE: All Penntex alternators are externally regulated. The regulator is usually located inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Our Penntex replacement PX2R high output alternator is a direct replacement for Lestex and Hehr Powerline alternators and will fit the following applications:
Ford Crown Vic and Police 2002 - 1996 4.6L engine
Ford E-series vans (buses) 2007 - 1997 5.4L engine
2007 - 1997 6.8L engine
Ford F-series trucks 2007 - 1998 6.8L engine
Please note: If you have the rear housing that has a portion cut out please note that at checkout in the special notes section as some vehicles can not use the standard rear housing because it will not clear some engine parts.
