Penntex Upgrades

Now you have another option for your Penntex system. We have a very late model Nippondenso direct replacement alternator for the Penntex systems. These alternators will use the same external regulator and harness as the Penntex alternator you are replacing. The Nippondenso alternator will provide much better output at low RPMs which is where you need it most.

NOTE: All Penntex systems use an external regulator. The regulator is usually located inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle. We have two amperage options available, the 240A alternators will produce 240 amps max and 195 amp at idle and the 370A alternators will provide 370 amps max with 240 amp at idle. This is great for shuttle buses and others that spend at lot of time idling or at slow speeds.
