Chevy Marine Starters

The starters below are used on most Chevy SB and BB engines in marine applications. Note the vertical mounting bolts used where the starter bolts to the block on the lower passenger side. The top mount starters have horizontal mounting bolts and mount to the bellhousing. Top mount starters are normally reverse rotation from a standard GM starter.
